HOMO FABER EVENT - CRAFTING A MORE HUMAN FUTURE

Homo Faber Event returns to Venice in 2022 to unveil an unprecedented cultural experience of craftsmanship with 15 immersive exhibitions. This years' Homo Faber event will showcase more than 850 unique works, handcrafted by over 400 designers and artisans, from more than 40 countries.

For its second edition, the event looks to highlight the excellence of master craftsmanship internationally, the  talented artisans from across the globe, their cherished savoir-faire, their
unique stories, and the territorial influences that enrich their masterpieces.

I'm really proud to be taking part in HomoFaber Event, the cultural event dedicated to contemporary craftsmanship, presented by the Michelangelo Foundation.

Furthermore, the event offers the public a rare opportunity to explore San Giorgio Maggiore island and the magnificent structures of the Fondazione Giorgio Cini in an exhibition that covers nearly 4,000 square metres.

Beyond the walls of Fondazione Giorgio Cini, the Homo Faber in Città project allows visitors to experience secret Venice, exploring the craftsmanship hidden between the city’s canals through exclusive visits to Venetian artisans’ workshops and ateliers, museums, shops and more.

So, during all the HF Event period, I'll be very close, in Campo San Zaccaria, in the heart of the city, at the Spazio SV, with my mosaics, to meet you and creating something new.

We open our doors from 10 April to 1 May for you to discover Venice, my mosaic's world, and more.

Finally, a great and latest news. Hotel Metropole will exhibit in its Oriental Bar spaces, overlooking the Riva degli Schiavoni, 3 of the 5 pieces of the Mosaic Stools collection created for and with Casarialto Atelier, a Catherine Urban's design project which, in a magnificent chain of events, led me to here today.
