He was a bohemian, a painter, an illustrator, an etcher and a precursor of modern graphics. During his short life he produced a large number of works that are now on show in the greatest museums in the world. What can I add?
Nothing, apart from the fact that his work offers us a look at life in Paris in his day, at a fascinating and mysterious world.
He provides a connection between the high society, the cultural circles, the night life and the brothels, all with women as main actresses: authentic, whether rich or poor, and loved by him as he portrayed them with a vivid luminous gaze.

Mosaic, 20x20 cm.

Made with glass paste tiles, from the kilns of the Fornace Storica Orsoni. Colours: various tonality of grey, ruddiness, violet, blue, yellow, red, brown and black.

Each mosaic can be framed to choice: wood (treated and waxed) either whitewashed or dark-brown effect; otherwise oxidized iron whichever best fits with your environment and personal taste.
