Amedeo Modigliani - Reclining Female Nude - Detail
After he moved to Paris, Modigliani’s work as influenced the atmosphere of the great events that occurred at the beginning of the 20th century.
He made drawings, watercolors and paintings. But only when he started sculpting did he find the way to express his creativity, and he returned to painting in a total new fashion: the shapes were filled with light and color, sober and well defined.
His female figures were firmly outlined: essential, seductive and poetic.

Made with glass paste tiles, from the kilns of the Fornace Storica Orsoni. Colours: dark pink, ruddiness, bordeaux, dark grey, white, yellow and black.
Each mosaic can be framed to choice: wood (treated and waxed) either whitewashed or dark-brown effect; otherwise oxidized iron whichever best fits with your environment and personal taste.
